NTT Communications acquires Gyron Data Center

On 1st June, 2012, the acquisition of the Gyron data center facility was announced, giving additional strength and capacity to NTT Communications’ cloud-based one-stop ICT solutions in the UK, Europe’s ICT hub, and allows for the Group to further accelerate its offering of increasingly diverse global cloud services.

Gyron is an experienced provider of resilient and energy-efficient colocation and associated data centre services, supporting business critical IT applications for customers across the world. With an announced power capacity of 19MW by 2013, Gyron and NTT Communications can offer colocation on both a wholesale and retail basis, along with associated connectivity and management services.
